Wow its been a long time since I posted.  There has been so much going on that I just haven’t had a chance.  Hopefully I’ll get back to some sort of consistency.

Anyway, the purpose of today’s post is to post an acme rod that I had to turn down the ends on.  Here is a picture of the finished rod.

I ordered the widgetmaster router from a person on ebay a few months back.  When I went to put it together, it was missing the leadscrew for Z and a motor coupler.  I got nowhere with the seller, and wanted to keep the item, so I decided to make my own.  This is the first real creation on my CNCed Sherline Lathe!
